Since my husband has developed dementia, I try to get him out to socialize everyday. The friendly staff have been an excellent place to call home. Keeping my husband active improves his attitude and his outlook.

The Whitley County Council on Aging (WCCOA) is a not-for-profit agency funded in part by city and county government, Medicaid, CHOICE, INDOT, Title IIIB of the Older American's Act, Community Foundation of Whitley County, Social Service Block Grants (SSBG), generous donations from individuals, clients and the business community. WCCOA operates its programs and services without regard to race, color, or national origin, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act.
